Zoya Happi - 92/365

Hello loves!

Today I just had to use more of my Zoya Color Cuties. This one is Happi. It's a beautiful pink packed with golden shimmer and boy does it make me happy when I stare at it. This polish very sheer and it took three coats before I was satisfied with the result.

What nail polish makes you happy? Let me know down below!

Happy April! - 91/365

Hello loves!

Happy April! As I mentioned in my Basket Weave post if I see something when I'm out and about that gives me inspiration for nail art I will snap a picture of it. And that is exactly what happened for today's manicure. I saw this flower pot in Michael's and I knew it would be perfect for a mani.

I received the Zoya Color Cuties in my Easter basket from my parents and I couldn't wait to use them. I painted my thumb, pointer finger, and pinky with Neely and then my middle and ring finger are Zuza. I decided to only do the squiggle design on the nails with Zuza on them.

Did anyone fool you today? Let me know down below!

Katherine

Happy Easter! - 90/365

Hello my loves!

Happy Easter! I had a wonderful day today and I hope you did as well. We surprised my parents with a party for their 25th anniversary and it went off without a hitch! They were so surprised!

I went into this mani thinking I was going to do Easter bunnies on each nail that all looked the same but then as I started I thought it would be cool if it looked as though the bunny was hopping up as each nail went on. I started off with just the ears and then went to just a peek of the head and then the eyes and a peek of the nose and then the full face.

What did the Easter bunny bring you? Let me know down below!

Care for a Carrot? - 89/365

Hello my loves!

I was stumped for ideas for today but I had seen some Easter nail art with carrots incorporated so I decided to go crazy for carrots. I did one large carrot for the accent nail on my ring ringer and then did smaller carrots on the rest of the nails.

Do you like carrots? Let me know down below!

Decorated Easter Egg Mani - 88/365

Hello loves!

When it was time to do Easter manis I knew I had to do a mani that looked like decorated Easter eggs. I love the way this turned out. I alternated between polka dots and lines with different colors so that each nail would be unique just like Easter Eggs.

Did you decorate Easter Eggs this year? Let me know down below!

Easter Polka - 87/365

Hello my loves!

Today I wanted to do a pastel mani for the upcoming Easter holiday. I used polishes from Lime Crime's collection. The only problem I have with these is the awful color the green turns the cream polish. I instantly regretted not using a white polish. I wonder if adding a top coat before adding the cream polish would have helped.

Have you had a polish turn a weird color after being layered over another polish? Let me know down below

Katherine

Basket Weave Nails - 86/365

Hello my loves!

I was wandering around Target like I always do at least once a week and this bowl caught my eye.

When I see things that catch my eye and get me inspired to do some nail art, I like to snap a picture so I don't forget about it.

I thought the pattern would be perfect for a Spring/Easter mani! I started out by painting each of my nails a different color. My pointer finger is OPI A Roll in the Hague, my middle finger is China Glaze Sunday Funday, my ring finger is Zoya Pippa, and my pinky is Butter LONDON Primrose Hill Picnic. I then used a small nail art brush with Zoya Purity to create this basket weave type design.

What has inspired a nail art design? Let me know down below!
